It started with a search for the perfect silk blouse. Long enough to wear with low-rise jeans, sleeves that hit just below the wrist, loose, but not sloppy looking. It seemed simple enough, yet every contender came up short, or to be more precise, came up too big.

To be fair, as the designer and driving force behind Min Edition, I stand at just 5'3" tall. And I know I am not alone. More than 40% of women in the U.S. are 5'4" and shorter, yet most contemporary brands focus solely on women 5'6" and taller.

Min Edition is here to disrupt the status quo of the women’s ready-to-wear petite market. Gone are the days of frumpy, boring basics with odd proportions. These are simply gorgeous clothes, designed exclusively for the perfectly petite.

Every inch matters. Manufacturers may like to think that petite women are just shrunken versions of their taller counterparts, but we all know that's not true. Where the waist hits matters. Sleeves should fall just below the wrist, not halfway down the hand. That's why here at Min Edition, we're about clean lines, great details and flattering proportions - all wrapped up in the perfect size package.
